Women Safety Policy

Our commitment to a safe, respectful, and harassment-free workplace for all women.

1. Our Commitment

Su-vastika Systems Private Limited is committed to providing a safe, secure, and dignified working environment for all women — employees, trainees, contractors, and visitors. We have zero tolerance for sexual harassment of any kind and are committed to upholding the rights and safety of women at the workplace in accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 ("POSH Act") and the Constitution of India.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all workplaces of Su-vastika, including our offices, factory, R&D centre, service locations, and any place visited by an employee during the course of employment, including transportation provided by the company.

3. What Constitutes Sexual Harassment

Sexual harassment includes any one or more of the following unwelcome acts or behaviour:

  • Physical contact and advances.
  • A demand or request for sexual favours.
  • Sexually coloured remarks.
  • Showing pornography or sexually explicit material.
  • Any other unwelcome physical, verbal, or non-verbal conduct of a sexual nature.

4. Internal Committee (IC)

In compliance with the POSH Act, Su-vastika has constituted an Internal Committee to receive and address complaints of sexual harassment. The Committee comprises a Presiding Officer (a senior woman employee), employee members, and an external member with experience in matters relating to sexual harassment, as required under the POSH Act.

Any complaint of sexual harassment may be submitted to the Internal Committee through the company contact details given below, and it will be directed to the Committee for confidential and time-bound redressal.

5. How to Raise a Complaint

  • An aggrieved woman may submit a written complaint to the Internal Committee within the timelines specified under the POSH Act.
  • Assistance will be provided to put the complaint in writing where required.
  • Complaints can also be raised through the dedicated contact provided by the company.

6. Confidentiality

The identity of the complainant, respondent, witnesses, and the details of the proceedings will be kept strictly confidential and will not be published or disclosed, except as permitted under the POSH Act.

7. Protection Against Retaliation

Su-vastika will not tolerate any retaliation, victimisation, or adverse treatment of any person for making a complaint in good faith, for being a witness, or for assisting in an inquiry.

8. Redressal and Action

The Internal Committee will conduct an inquiry in a fair and time-bound manner. Where a complaint is substantiated, appropriate action — which may include disciplinary action up to and including termination — will be taken in accordance with the POSH Act and company policy.
